COMMISSION STATUS: OPEN FOR INQUIRIES

I am currently accepting commission inquiries!

How does commissioning me work?

1. Application: Please do take the time to read and understand all the information noted on this page. At the end, you will find a link that will take you to an order form where you can request for a commission slot.
2. Confirmation: If your order has been accepted, you will be receiving a confirmation email from me within a couple of days.
   • I have the right to refuse a commission request for whatever reason.
   • Additional information regarding the commission can be sent from this point (reference images, descriptions, moodboards, link to a Pinterest board or to a Miro board, etc.)
   • Feel free to be as detailed as possible in your descriptions and references! This will save us revision time from the sketching stage.
   • We can continue to discuss the commission through email or Discord.
3. Quotation: Once I’ve got a better feeling of the amount of work that will go into your commission, I will send a quote.
   • Extra charges may apply if the commission requires more work (complicated poses, detailed armor, extra props, detailed backgrounds, etc.) Otherwise the prices will be following the set price listed with the samples below.
   • Upon receiving a quote, you can then decide whether you agree with the given price or not. From here, we can negotiate and find solutions to better suit your budget and adjust the details of the commission.
4. Invoice and Payment: After the quote has been accepted by you, I will send over an invoice.
   • I currently only accept payments via Paypal, especially with international clients. If you live in Germany or within the EU, we can discuss other modes of payments (bank transfer).
   • At least 50% of the payment is required upfront to initiate the commission process.
5. Sketch Stage: I will send over a rough sketch for approval before moving on to the lineart and/or color stage.
   • This includes a maximum of 3 revisions, so make sure you express all your notes after seeing the initial sketch and the revised sketch after.
   • Additional revisions may incur additional fees.
   • Full refunds cannot be made at this point.
6. Lineart & Color Stage: Based on the approved sketch, I will then work on the lineart and flat colors. Updates will be sent over to you as I progress.
   • Only minor changes can be done during this stage (color changes, very small detail additions, etc)
   • Major changes that will require me to redraw a significant portion of that work that has already been done will incur additional fees.
7. Completed Work: Once the work is done, I will send you the high resolution PNG, JPEG and/or PDF files.
   • If you’ve paid in deposits, I will only send a low resolution preview of the finished work with my watermark.
   • The final high resolution files will only be send after I have received the payment in full.

Terms of Service

Copyright and Usage

• I maintain all rights, including copyright and ownership, of the original artwork. This encompasses sketches and other preliminary works.
• I reserve the right to feature the completed commissioned work in my portfolio and share it on my social media platforms.
• I will not claim ownership of your characters, designs, etc.
• Clients are permitted to use the final commissioned artwork for personal purposes, which may include printing for individual use or decoration, and as online avatars, profile pictures, or banners.
• Clients are allowed to share the finished commission piece online with proper credit.
  • Online sharing of my work should be credited to @trixdraws for Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and other platforms.
• Clients are not allowed to reproduce and make profit from the artwork without permission and prior agreement with me.
  • We can discuss and negotiate the purchase of commercial rights via email.
• Clients are not allowed to remove the watermark or alter the artwork without the my permission.
• Clients are not allowed to upload or feed my artwork to any Generative AI platforms.

Refunds and Cancellations

• Delayed payments, whether an upfront deposit or full payment, could potentially lead to the cancellation of the commission.
• Clients are eligible for a full refund in the event that I delay finishing the work for more than six months (180 days), starting on the date of the clients’ first payment.

Timeframe and Delivery

• The production of a commission piece may take at least 3 weeks up to months, depending on the complexity of the artwork. Please do inform me if you have a deadline for the piece you are commissioning so I can put it for consideration (In the event of a tight deadline, I can either refuse the commission request or charge extra as over hours fee).
• The finished artwork will be delivered to you digitally via email in PNG, JPEG, and/or PDF format. I will not be providing physical art prints of the finished work.

Also it’s important to note that these are prices for human characters. Anthropomorphic characters would cost a bit more due to extra details (fur, patterns, scales, etc)

IMPORTANT: Prices will be changing come January 2026 as I transition to a full-time self-employment.

You can have the finished piece printed for personal use, as well as shared in social media as long as proper credits are given.
